Governor & Mrs Yahaya Bello and Mr & Mrs Prince & Mercy Okojie
Multi-award winning Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie who was appointed as the senior special assistant on Entertainment, Arts and Culture to Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, was sworn-in yesterday.
In a vote of thanks, Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Entertainment to the Governor, Mrs Mercy Johnson Okojie commended the Governor for being gender sensitive.
She said Bello has united the people of the state ever than before through people oriented policies and programmes.
Mercy Johnson, a Nollywood superstar, hails from Okene local government Area of Kogi state.
She further took to social media to thank her husband, Prince Odi for supporting her as she was inaugurated as a special assistant to the governor of Kogi state. "He supports my every move once its right and tells me not to move an inch once it's wrong.Once again he has given me his blessings on this challenge.Odi,I worship the very ground u walk on.thank you for every opportunity,love ,honesty and words."
